About

拝啓
My love for design is rooted in my identity, which embodies the intersection between creativity and practicality. Before I found the perfect middle ground of product design, the years I spent pursuing either bioengineering or the arts allowed me to hone the skills necessary to becoming a better designer:
Research, innovation, creativity, and artistic expression.
My dual nature likely stems from my juxtaposing American and Japanese background, which has shaped me into the multicultural person I am today. I pride myself on being highly analytical and detail-oriented, and on my drive to continuously learn and grow — not only as a designer, but also as a person.
I will never stop creating, designing, and inventing. At my core, I am driven by my desire to elevate our lived experiences — through opportunities for delight or solving real challenges. I always keep this goal in mind and hope to make meaningful impacts through my designs.
