About

拝啓

My love for design is rooted in my identity, which embodies the intersection between creativity and practicality. Before I found the perfect middle ground of product design, the years I spent pursuing either bioengineering or the arts allowed me to hone the skills necessary to becoming a better designer:

Research, innovation, creativity, and artistic expression.

My dual nature likely stems from my juxtaposing American and Japanese background, which has shaped me into the multicultural person I am today. I pride myself on being highly analytical and detail-oriented, and on my drive to continuously learn and grow — not only as a designer, but also as a person.

I will never stop creating, designing, and inventing. At my core, I am driven by my desire to elevate our lived experiences — through opportunities for delight or solving real challenges. I always keep this goal in mind and hope to make meaningful impacts through my designs.

How AI is Redefining the Way we Interact with Technology
The way we are interacting with technology is adapting to the integration of AI, specifically by shifting away from the self-serve model that the internet was once forced to adopt. Till now, information and transactions were required by technical limitations to be stand-alone in order for users to complete tasks independently. But AI changes this by taking on the role of a reliable co-pilot – one we are learning to seek assistance from, to collaborate with.
